ABOUT: BALANCE
Athletes often find themselves competing off-balance. It’s an opponents objective to knock you off balance and disrupt your rhythm, either preventing or slowing down your execution of skills. We train our athletes to execute effectively off-balance. We educate the body to not only know where their center of gravity is at all times, but once off-balance, how to get back to center as quickly as possible.

Many athletes struggle with proprioception. Proprioception is the sense of self-movement and body position in space. It’s an essential awareness to where and how to become balanced while moving. Snowboarders, skateboarders, and surfers all possess this skill. We train all athletes to become more aware of where their body is in space and therefore performing in a more balanced state. We incorporate off-balance training as a key to developing this so-called sixth-sense of balance awareness. As a result we improve our athlete’s performances from average to great.
